REFERENCE

The chairpersons of numerous resident’s associations can be contacted for references. As mentioned above, James Swann dealt with RA’s and community initiatives over a number of years where many crime prevention structures were successfully implemented.

PRICING

Our pricing for a security and guarding solution is determined only once a proper risk assessment has been done. This is conducted at no cost to clients who employ our services.

Low-risk areas or sites may require fewer guards or we may be able to reduce guards in instances where we have made an impact on crime after a period of time.

Coprosec does not work on a calculation of posting a set number of guards based on
the size of the area or site. In today’s environment, customers require cost effective
solutions. Therefore we engage with the client in order to best address their needs and budget.

INSURANCE

Because we realize that we are dealing with people and mistakes and accidents happen.
We hold the following insurance cover;
Public Liability Insurance: R5000 000-00

Personalised Security & Consulting Services

The main focus of Coprosec is to provide personalised service. This includes management and staff involvement, in an interactive manner, with our clients.

Guard Training

While guard training is important and is conducted initially in a classroom, it is crucial for guards to be trained on-site in a hands-on manner so they fully understand their responsibilities.

Guards are subjected to a regular “walkabout” on-site with supervisors and senior management such sessions are logged with points of risk to be addressed by the site’s guards and supervisors after these sessions, this is logged back at head office and is, in turn, monitored through the control room.

Guards and the Supervisors should where possible know who the client is, their staff and be able to identify most of the community he /she guards. Community / Clients and their representatives should trust and be able to approach and freely communicate with our guards.

Risk ASSESMENT

Our experience indicates that no two clients have the same risk profile.

Different demographics have a greater crime trend as opposed to others which have minima crime trends. Through access to detailed crime statistics, we are able to assess the history and develop a risk profile built around this information.

The risk assessment is conducted by one of the company’s directors; a retired policeman who exited the police force to pursue private security experience James Swann has maintained and continues to maintain close ties and friendships within the SAPS which give access and insight into crime trends and potential risks.
